About this free PDF toolbox

This free online PDF toolbox lets you merge multiple PDFs into one, split a PDF into separate files, reorder pages and extract just the pages you need, with no software to install and no account to create. Add your files, arrange them and download the result.

Unlike many online PDF tools, everything happens in your browser: your PDFs are never uploaded to a server, so contracts, invoices and personal documents stay on your device. Each file can be up to 10 MB.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know about the online PDF Toolbox.

No. Every operation — merge, split, reorder, extract — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF is never uploaded, stored, or logged.
Open the Merge tab, add two or more PDFs, drag the list into the order you want, then click Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads automatically.
Yes. On the Split tab, choose "Every N pages" and set how many pages each output file should contain — or switch to "Custom ranges" for exact page groups like 1-3;4-6;7-10.
Load a PDF on the Reorder tab and each page appears as a row you can drag up or down. Once the order looks right, click Save Reordered PDF to download the result.
On the Extract tab, type the pages or ranges you want, such as 1,3,5-8, and click Extract Pages. Only those pages are copied into the new file, in the order listed.
Each PDF can be up to 10 MB. Since everything runs in your browser's memory, very large files may be slow depending on your device.
Several — one file per group. Your browser may ask you to allow multiple downloads the first time; allowing it lets all the split files save automatically.
Not yet. Merge, split, reorder and extract are supported today; PDF compression needs a different approach and is planned as a separate addition.
Yes. Pages are copied at the PDF object level, not re-rendered as images, so text, fonts and image quality stay exactly as they were in the source file.
